Discover which bird species inhabit some of the outlying areas that surround New Melones Lake. Learn to identify groups of species, flight patterns, calls, and songs. Discover how important birds are to our existence. Presentation held at New Melones Visitor Center and Museum, 6850 Studhorse Flat Road (left turn off of Hwy 49 at south end of Stevenot Bridge). Get On Your MARK Wine/Bike Tour with Val du Vino Winery
Join us for our next "randonnee adventure" thru scenic country roads, stopping along the way, meeting the winery owners and winemakers and taking in the beautiful landscape of the area. Your "Val du Vino" winery experience will invite you to relax, refresh, and unwind in their tasting room sipping a variety of their exquisite wines following our bike ride. A table will be set for you on their "crush" pad, and lunch, "A touch of the Orient" will be prepared by Val du Vino owner and Chef, Jeannine Hebel. It's more than just another bike ride!
Cost is $99 per person. If you're bringing someone who won't be riding, have them join us for a Gourmet Vineyard Lunch and Wine Tasting — just $25.00.
