Beginning Farm Planning Workshop
If you're thinking about starting a small-scale farm or ranch, this class is for you! Beginning Farm Planning: A day-long workshop for new and continuing growers that covers:
-Market-driven farming: learn about resources and how to do the market research you need before deciding what to produce -Fundamentals of a Farm Business Plan: what you need to know, how to organize your business plan
-Introduction to economic analysis tools: planning for profit in your new farming or ranching business....
This workshop will be taught by the experts from the Placer Nevada
University of California Cooperative Extension team along with experienced farmers/ranchers from throughout the foothill and mountain region.

“The Art of Marriage” Program - Murphys
Murphys, CA....Hey Husbands: are you looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? We have the answer for you: Mountain Christian Fellowship invites you to join us for two events guaranteed to enrich the entire Family! Friday, May 13th from 7:00pm to 9:30pm and Saturday, May 14th from 9:00am to 4:00pm, we will host “The Art of Marriage” a program featuring pastors and respected marriage experts from various Christian denominations, presenting biblically based content to provide married couples of all ages with the tools to build strong, Godly marriages. This video program from Family Life Ministries will bless the happily married couple, the couple that may be struggling, or an engaged couple desiring to start their marriage off right.
At the same time, we will present “The Art of Adventure” a fun-filled program for kids while mom and dad are enjoying couple time!
