Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch presents the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival on Tour Thursday, Sept. 16, at Chatom Winery with a showing of Tapped. Admission is free. Complimentary snacks and $5.00 a glass wine will be available in Chatom's courtyard starting at 6:30 P.M. Raffle Prizes after the film. RSVP to info@sierrafilmfest.org to reserve a seat.
Tapped provides eye-popping insight into the life cycle of a commodity we have to come to take for granted. From the plastic bottle production to the ocean in which so many of these bottles end up, this inspiring documentary follows the path of the bottled water industry and communities caught at the intersection of big business and the public's right to water.
Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch, Arnold is proud to be the local host of the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival on Tour for the sixth consecutive year. Watch for our 2011 schedule of films. EPFW promotes responsible, sustainable timber harvest practices through public education, legal action, and coordination with other conservation groups.
