The Sheron McCarthy Memorial Concert, a benefit concert for the Bret Harte High School music scholarship program, is this weekend, Saturday, April 17th. If you find yourself looking for something really fun to do on Saturday evening, please consider joining us at the Bret Harte Performing Arts Theater. The two jazz bands that are playing, the Columbia Big Band and the Mario Flores Latin Jazz Band, are extremely accomplished groups, both locally based. They play the kind of music that makes you smile and tap your toes. Our high school band musicians will be sitting in on a couple of songs, and that should be great fun; but most of the concert will feature these two wonderful bands. Tickets are available at the door for $15, with a $20 VIP seating option. Please email any questions to Mr. Allured: dallured@bhuhsd.k12.ca.us

Hope to see you there,
