Angels Camp, CA....Slow Food Calaveras is hosting the next Slow Foods meeting on Tuesday, May 17 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Utica Park in Angels Camp. "Join us for our next Slow Foods meeting when Randy Metzger, of Metzger Farms in San Andreas, a local producer who grows and sells at the Calaveras farmers markets, talks to our chapter about starting a vegetable garden suited to the Foothills. Already growing veggies? Find out if you're making the best choices for this area.....
Bring your wallet and a friend, because Randy will also be selling vegetable starters that you can take home to get your own garden started this season.
And if you like, bring a dish to share potluck style and join us for some good food too.
