Calaveras Community Band Rehearsal
Calaveras Community Band Reheasals are held in the gazebo of Murphys Park Monday evenings 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Preceding that the Summer Youth Band meets from 4:45 PM to 6:00 PM. For details call 728-9057.

Calaveras Pride youth swim team
This is a fun, competitive, Swim Team.
Our Goal is to keep kids swimming and progress swimmers at every level. Swimmers will learn all the strokes and get an opportunity to compete against kids their own age. This is a feeder program for the High School Swim Team.
Where: Calaveras High School Pool. Pool will be open for practice Monday thru Thursday 4:30-6:00p.m.
When: June 6 thru July 23, 2010

Mandatory AAU Membership /Insurance Card $14

Live Music at Alchemy, Murphy
Every Friday, Alchemy features jazz standards by Matt Cullen on our patio from 5:30-8 pm. Matt will play with an "enhanced rhythm" section and will sometimes be joined by guests. The music is free; all we ask is that you call 728-0700 for reservations and that you eat some dinner. Feel free to dance if the mood strikes you.

Hospice of Amador & Calaveras will be hosting its 14th annual Art on the Lawn Fundraiser held this year at Murphys Park located in downtown Murphys. Help support the very important work of your local hospice by purchasing tickets to this fabulous event. With champagne, wine, appetizers, a light meal, silent auction, raffle, and a fabulous live auction featuring favorite local artists, this annual fundraiser is guaranteed to be a night to remember. The creekside, shady setting, and the light jazz sounds of Herb Boxhorn and ....

Klaudia Promessi will further enhance the evening. This is the first time this long-standing event is being held in Calaveras County acknowledging the fact that more and more of Hospice patients and families live in Calaveras. Please join friends and Hospice on June 17th beginning at 6:00PM and enjoy a fine evening of wine, art, music and fun. All proceeds of this event help Hospice meet its mission of providing quality end of life care to anyone who needs it, regardless of their ability to pay. Hospice of Amador & Calaveras ART ON THE LAWN
The 14th annual Hospice of Amador & Calaveras Art On the Lawn event will take place for the first time ever in Calaveras County.
This fab event will be held Friday, June 17th at 6pm in the Murphys Park, 505 Algiers Street.
Tickets cost $40 in advance ($50 at the door).
This will be an evening full of Art, champagne, wine, appetizers, a light dinner and the music of Herb Boxhorn and Klaudia Promerri.
