END OF SWIM SEASON SCHEDULE!
We will be open Tuesday-Saturday this week as our last full week of operation for the season. PLUS we are going to be open on TUESDAY August 17th (the day before school starts) and SATURDAY August 21st! Come and enjoy the fun!
We are open 1-6 and the cost is only .50 cents per person! We hope to see you there!

Bullying Prevention Workshop
A bullying intervention and communication skills workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Jenny Lind Elementary School, 5100 Driver Road, Valley Springs.
The goal of the two-hour workshop is to help parents improve their interactions and communication with their children and other youth. Attendees will learn about intolerance and bullying, with may include cyberbullying. Parents will also learn techniques for acting effectively when they or their children witness or hear about mistreatment.
Participants will also discuss the youth-centered, school-based program Safe School Ambassadors, and other ways they can work with school leaders to reduce mistreatment and improve school climates.
The presenter for the evening will be Helen Perdue from the Safe School Ambassador program. Refreshments and snacks will be provided and there will be a prize drawing. The event is sponsored by Jenny Lind Elementary School and the Calaveras Unified School District. To RSVP, call Principal Amy Hasselwander at 754-2350.

The Calaveras County Arts Council presents the 2010 Music in the Parks concerts. Shows start at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm.
