June 19, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., Pinecrest Amphitheater, Pinecrest Lake Road, Pinecrest, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, for those 16 and over you must have a valid fishing license to fish, 7 to 9 a.m. will be registration at the Pinecrest Amphitheater, fishing from 7:30 to 11 a.m., activities, displays and casting contest from 9 to 11 a.m., lunch and entertainment by Bill Roberson, storytelling by Jennifer Aquirre from 11 to 11:45 a.m., presentation and awards at 11:45 a.m.; fair is free to attend, hot dog lunch for $3 for those who are not registered, call 965-3434 or visit fs.fed.us/r5/stanislaus/.

June 19 and 20, 8 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Columbia Airport, parking off South Airport Drive, Columbia, pancake breakfast both mornings from 7 to 11 a.m. ($7 for adults and $4 for under 13), vintage, experimental and military aircraft on display, flights in various aircraft available, vendor booths, a flour bomb contest, Cal Fire drop planes and helicopters and P-51 Mustangs at the airport event; barbecue Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ($15 for adults and $12 for 12 and under at the door); free parking, admission is $4 for adults and free for military personnel in uniform or children under 12, fathersdayflyin.com.
