Food Bank Comes to Columbia College
Columbia College has partnered with the ATCAA Food Bank to be a distribution site for free food.
Our delivery is 3rd Thursday but food is available for pick up every Wednesday and Thursday 9am -11:30pm outside of the student center in Ponderosa. Each person will get a bag of dry/canned foods and fruits/veges and other perishables as they are available.
Eligible students make less than $1300/mo as an individual – no paperwork needed.

The mission of Breastfeeding USA is to provide evidence-based breastfeeding information and support, and to promote breastfeeding as the biological and cultural norm.
Free help and information is available for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers through your local accredited Breastfeeding Counselor (BC). You can contact your local BC by phone, e-mail, and monthly group meetings in Murphys.

The Hospice of Amador and Calaveras Counties will be providing a weekly grief support group on Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:30. The group is a drop in group and is intended for adults, 18 and over. The group will meet at the First Congregational Church on Algiers Street in Murphys. All are welcome.
