The 19th Annual Copper Run will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Black Creek Park in Copperopolis. The Copper Run will benefit the Copperopolis Elementary School and the Copperopolis Volunteer Firemen Association. All participants will receive a race t-shirt. The 2 Mile Run will begin at 9:00 a.m., the 1/2 Mile Run will begin at 9:45 a.m. and the 10K Run will begin at 10:15 a.m. Race day registrations are accepted. TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA The Sierra Foothills Dance Club, (a non-profit) announces its next monthly dance at 7:00 pm on SATURDAY January 22nd at the Tuolumne Memorial Hall.  January will feature a Foxtrot class with certified ballroom dance instructor Juan Parache of Stockton from 7-8pm which will be followed by general social dancing from 8-10pm.

With a rapidly growing membership (currently around 50) from as far as Mountain Ranch, Pine Mountain Lake and the Stockton / Modesto area, the Sierra Foothills Dance Club is becoming the areas premier dance club.
Fun. Entertaining. Easy.

Social. Non-threatening environment.

So come join in the fun!!

We are a newly forming Chapter (#4047) of USA Dance, a non-profit organization promoting Ballroom Dancing nationwide ( www.USADance.org for more information)

Members $7, non-members $10, which goes directly towards operating the club.

Monthly Dance will feature a different dance class
A social dance and class will be mostly held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Each monthly dance will feature a class on a different dance with instruction from qualified guest Instructors

This will fill the long standing need for a Ballroom Dance Club for the area commented Committee Chair, Evelyn Mainguth This is a fun, social group where you can meet friends and dance in a non-intimidating environment

Who We Are
The Sierra Foothill Dance Club is run by a committee dedicated to promoting Ballroom Dancing in the California Foothills for fun, enjoyment and social contact.

Future events could include a showcase (watch for announcements of date) and Elegant Affair type dinner dances.

entertainment lineup that will satisfy any music lover.

With over 200 seats, Willow Creek Lounge is an entertainment venue complete with a full service bar,
dance floor, and video bar top slots. Shows are primarily free, however selected shows may have a minimal ticket charge to provide comfortable crowd size for the venue. For all 8 pm shows, doors will open at 6:30 pm and for all 9pm shows, doors will open at 7:30 pm. Performances that require tickets will be noted on the entertainment lineup, and tickets will be available at The Gift Basket and at www.highsierratickets.com. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis, and you must be seated at the table to save your seat prior to any show. Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke-free venue, and all lounge guests must be 21 or older to attend.
