Calaveras Big Trees Association Holiday Open House and Sale
Calaveras Big Trees Association Holiday Open House and Sale November 20 & 21.
Calaveras Big Trees Association (CBTA) will hold its Annual Holiday Open House and Sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, and Sunday, November 21, 2010, at the Visitor Center at Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
Mention the Open House at the Park Entrance and receive a free half- hour pass to the park.
As a way of thanking the community for its ongoing support of the park, CBTA will discount nearly everything in the Visitor Center by 20 percent. Shop for unique holiday gifts for everyone on your list in a one-of-a-kind location. Refreshments will be served. Sale proceeds support the park’s interpretive programs.
Also, the Resource Connection of Calaveras County has designated the Visitor Center as a drop off point for its Annual Food Drive. CBTA invites visitors to bring a non-perishable food donation for Santa’s Express.

CBTA is a non-profit association of individuals dedicated to preserving, promoting and funding educational programs for Calaveras Big Trees. It was created in 1974 to assist and support the interpretation and environmental education programs at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. In the last few months CBTA contributed $500,000, all raised from donations and book store sales, toward construction of a new visitor center.
