Sweetheart Retreat
The Greenhorn Creek Vacation Cottages are offering through the month of March, a sweetheart retreat. Book a stay at one of the cottages and get a romantic dinner at Camps Restaurant on the house. (A $75 value).

Youth Wrestling Tournement - Bret Harte HS
A.M.A. wrestling club is hosting a youth wrestling tournement at BH HS on Sunday Jan. 24. The tournament is FOLK style and USA Wrestling format. All wrestlers must have a USA Wrestling Athlete Card. Wrestlers can purchase cards on site via Online w/printer but will cost $45.00.
Weights and brackets are USA Rules. Weigh-ins are from 6:30am-8:00 am.
Spectator Fee: $5.00 Adults ~ $2.00 Students ~ Under 6 FREE. Wrestling starts at approx. 9am.
Entry Fee for Wrestler: $10.00 per wrestler (Add $10.00 late fee if weighing in after 8:00 am)
COACHING: USA Coaches cards are required to waive spectator’s fee or for floor access. MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE!

Jazztrax Snowshoe Stomp!
Jan 24, registration at 8:30 a.m., races begin at 10 a.m., Bear Valley Cross Country, off Highway 4, Bear Valley, 1-mile fun run for kids (ages 9 and under, $5 or $15 with T-shirt) and 5k (juniors and citizens, $20) and 10k (adults, $25) races open to folks on snowshoes (fees for 5k and 10k include T-shirt, drawing prizes and hot food and beverages); registration forms at Hazel Fischer and Michelson elementary schools and Avery Middle School or call race director Patty Jo Struve at 795-1697 (add $10 for race-day registration); entertainment by the Avery Middle School Jazz Band, drawings and awards ceremony; proceeds support the Vallecito Music Boosters.
