03:00 PM USDA Rural Development Hosts Jobs Forums Throughout The State
USDA Rural Development State Director Dr. Glenda Humiston announced a partnership with USDA Farm Services Agency and Natural Resource Conservation Service to co-host forums on job creation throughout the state. In addition, a wide variety of local organizations are participating including Economic Development Corporations, U.C. Cooperative Extension, Resource Conservation and Development Councils, California State Universities, Valley Health Network, Sierra Nevada Conservancy, Farm Bureaus, Tribal Governments, Self-Help Housing Groups, and many more.

Representatives from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Program will host a workshop on Wednesday, January 27th, beginning at 3:00pm at the Calaveras County Library in San Andreas.
