05:30 PM Calaveras Arts Council Appreciation Meeting
5:30PM
Location: Black Bart Inn at 35 Main Street in San Andreas

An evening of recognition for volunteers and members of the Calaveras County Arts Council.

The Calaveras Arts Council wants to show appreciation and acknowledgement to the members who willingly volunteer at the many events held by the Calaveras Arts Council. The hope, too, is that new members will be present and can learn about what is planned for the rest of the year, and could even sign up to help out at some of these events. The Arts Council plans to have quarterly meetings for their membership in an effort to keep in touch and to keep everyone informed of upcoming activities.
As part of the evening's festivities, a dinner of spaghetti and meat sauce or vegetarian pasta will be served at 6 pm for $12 per person. Beginning at 5:30 pm, a no host bar will also be available.

The evening will include a painting demonstration by The Painter Sisters, who are well known for their light-hearted and eccentric one canvas paintings. Peggy Huth, Kate Fredrick, and Ruth Morrow alternate painting on the same canvas, each adding their own interpretation in reaction to the previous painter. A brilliant splash of color and objects evolves, which is downright fun, weird and wonderful. They had partially "retired" from doing this, but are returning for this evening of uproarious fun and high spirits.

For an evening of entertainment and good food, make your reservation by calling the Calaveras Arts Council at 754-1774 by April 20.
