This California Alps Cycling Camp is an exclusive camp designed for riders of the super scenic "Ebbetts Pass Century Ride" and includes event registration, a day of kayaking on Lake Alpine and on the bike coaching during your ride! If you are looking for a unique weekend experience wrapped around one of the best high altitude centuries in the California Alps you'll want in! If you are someone who enjoys the social aspects that come with riding in a group it's a perfect fit!

On Saturday you'll enjoy one of four, super-scenic ride choices - all part of the Ebbetts Pass Century. These rides will knock your socks off with the beauty of the California Alps and lakes, while you navigate the best terrain of the high country. On Sunday we'll have a relaxing 'recovery' day with our group in kayaks! You'll enjoy leisurely time with a picnic lunch at Lake Alpine and if you're up for it, there are numerous hiking trails to go exploring. There's dozens of beautiful lakes, amazing hiking, mountain biking, spectacular road rides, and great climbing in Bear Valley. It's the perfectplace for your next adventure!

06:45 PM Mossas take on Ballers in Calaveras Adult Slowpitch Softball Association men's division finals
Coming off an extra-inning victory over second-seeded Middle's Open in the semifinals, the Mossas of Valley Springs, sponsored by Deco Rock, will take on the top-seeded Ballers in the Calaveras Adult Slowpitch Softball Association men's division best-of-three championship series starting Friday August 27th at the Vets Fields in Valley Springs. Games 1 and 2 of the finals will be played Friday at 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. If necessary, a deciding Game 3 will be held next Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 6:45 p.m., also at the Vets Fields. The Mossas are playing in the finals for the first time in their 10-year history, while the Ballers are in the finals for the eighth straight season, seeking their sixth league title in that span, including their third in a row.
