Memorial Weekend Skate Ski Clinic/Camp
Memorial Weekend Skate Ski Clinic/Camp is on! Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 28 & 29, 2011. Join Paul Petersen and guest staff for a fun and informative weekend designed for intermediate or better skiers that want to improve their skate skiing and racing techniques and tactics. The clinics will be held on select BVCC trails and will be groomed just for the participants. Finish your season with some dialing in of your techniques so you have a jump on next year! ....

"Uses of the Stanislaus River" Guided Hike
Join us for Reclamation’s interpretive hikes this spring at New Melones Lake. All activities are free of charge, suitable for all ages, and do not require reservations. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. A water bottle and sunscreen are also recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Uses of the Stanislaus River
Saturday May 28, 9 am
Heron Point, Tuttletown Recreation Area
Hike the Heron Point trail with Ranger Emerald to learn about how people have utilized the Stanislaus River. This is an easy 2 mile hike. We will meet at the Tuttletown Entrance Station at 9 am and then caravan down to Heron Point trailhead. Participants will receive a parking pass for the duration of the event.

The Valley Springs Music Festival will bring together individual music performers and music groups from Northern California. Along with the wonderful music, the venue will be filled with delicious food, drinks, adult beverages, beautiful art from our local Calaveras artists, arts and craft vendors.
