Dave Mason at the Bear Valley Music Festival
FRIDAY, JULY 30 – 8 p.m. – Dave Mason. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason will be the opening night entertainer for the Bear Valley Music Festival. The English guitarist, singer, and songwriter first found fame at age 18 when he teamed with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood to form the legendary band Traffic. A year later he wrote the song “Feelin’ Alright” that has become a classic, having been recorded by more than 48 artists. Last year Mason received a singular honor at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, the Outstanding Career Achievement Honor. Bear Valley is located off California State Highway 4 on the Ebbetts Pass Corridor in Alpine County.
