Tour Historic Angels "A Downtown Evening" Monday, May 9th, 2011
Angels Camp, CA....Here’s your chance to take the new Angels Camp Walking Tour and learn more about Angels Camp’s early history. Don Gifford, owner and operator of Angels Tours, will lead us on a walking tour of the downtown area. You’ll learn new and interesting facts about the founders of Angels Camp and the early businesses and buildings, and how Angels Camp progressed over the years.....
We’ll start with a mixer at The Mercantile, 1267 S. Main Street, and then begin the tour from there. Please wear walking shoes, even though you’ll stay between Finnegan Lane and Rasberry Lane. Please note: We will not be at Camps this evening.
Angels Tours is a welcome new activity for residents and visitors. It recently began operation from 1211 S. Main and is offering tours six days a week.
