Copperopolis Town Square to Host ‘Hot Copper Car Show’....Proceeds to Benefit Lake Tulloch Lions Club Community, Humanitarian Projects

Copperopolis, CA.....The events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host the “Hot Copper Car Show” on Saturday, May 7th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., bringing together the most exotic cars, motorcycles and trucks from the Copper Valley. Admission for the event is free for spectators and entry fee for vehicles is $20 (pre-entry) and $25 (day of the event). Those interested in a vendor booth must pre-register and the cost is $35. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Tulloch Lions Club community and humanitarian projects. Awards for the Hot Copper Car show will take place at 3 p.m.

During the event, the Lions Club will serve breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. and their “locally world famous” burgers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can also enjoy live music, contests and raffles all day.

“The Hot Copper Car Show is an annual tradition for Copperopolis Town Square and attracts the best automobiles in Northern California,” says Linda Stefanick, Vice President and Event Director for Castle & Cooke Calaveras, Inc. “We are excited to kick-off the warm weather by bringing together the community in support of the Lake Tulloch Lions Club.”

Copperopolis Town Square is situated in the rolling foothills of the Central Sierra on Highway 4 in Calaveras County, two hours from the Bay Area and 1.5 hours from Sacramento. The area offers visitors a wide variety of amenities and activities including golf, tennis and dining at the acclaimed Saddle Creek Resort with accommodations for guests in luxurious Lodge Bungalows conveniently located within a few paces of the golf course.

Additional activities in the region include boating on Lake Tulloch; eateries, restaurants and artisan shops at Copperopolis Town Square; and scenic guided trail rides on horseback and children’s pony rides provided by the Copper Valley Trail Company.
