The Sierra Rock Garden Society is holding a free garden tour and plant sale on Saturday, May 21st, from 10 am. to 3pm. These "high country" gardens will be located in Twain Harte and at the Sierra Outdoor School in Sonora. Because these gardens are located at a higher elevation, they offer gardeners an opportunity to look at the challenges of growing in a cooler climate. There will be plants available for sale and many of them are well suited to the higher elevations. You may start your tour at any one of the following gardens and then receive a map and directions to the other gardens. 1. Fred and Sharon Peterson, 19720 Westview Dr., Twain Harte. 2.
