Angels Camp, CA...The 2013 Miss Calaveras Pageant filled the stands to watch 10 young ladies vie for the coveted title. They join in the long tradition of pageant at a County Fair that stretches it's own lineage back to the Gold Rush. Chelsea Ruthrauff, Amanda Carlin, Shannon Hummel, Amanda Sheehan, Julia Weist, Shelby Reese, Nicole Huddy, and Amanda Norwood were the contestants. Chelsea Ruthrauff is the 2013 Miss Calaveras with Nicole Huddy as first runner up, and Shelby Reese as second runner up. In our little corner of the world this show is a Big Deal every year. The local cable channel sends a mufti-camera crew and records the entire show for later rebroadcast. from Frogtown. We again this year pushed the show out with a webcast and recorded it with a second camera for playback. Lydia Stafford captured the event masterfully with her lens with over 300 photos in all. We would like to thank Sissy's Bella Salon, Small Town Girl an Bling in Murphys for sponsoring coverage of the 2013 Miss Calaveras Pageant.

There will be over 300 photos in the slideshow from Lydia Stafford (A former Miss Calaveras) Full video replay is enclosed...
