Calaveras Chamber of Commerce Presents Their 1st Annual Mother Lode Bridal Faire ~ By Hanna Alldrin
Angels Camp, CA.....Planning a wedding can be such a fun time, and also a time of much decision-making. Bridal show season is in full swing, and one of the tools that brides should consider is attending a bridal show. On March 15th, 2009 the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce will be presenting their first Mother Lode Bridal Faire in the Mark Twain Hall at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds......
The faire will be held from 11am-4pm, admission and parking is FREE to all guests attending. The show allows couples to find everything for their perfect day -- from caterers to rehearsal dinner locations to photographers. There are going to be hourly raffle prizes and over thirty of the most sought-after wedding venders in our area.
The Calaveras County Fairgrounds is a central location for surrounding wedding venders and specialist making it a prime location for the Mother Lode Bridal Faire. "Calaveras county is a perfect place to market weddings so hosting a bridal faire seemed like a perfect fit," shared Executive Director Diane Gray.
Many brides have never attended a bridal show before, so here are some helpful tips to make your bridal show experience even more enjoyable. Wear comfortable shoes and bring someone with you! Bring your Mother, a Bridesmaid, and yes, your fiancé may even enjoy himself! They can help you with collecting information and they would be happy you included them in the planning process! As for your fiancé? Just tell him that he can win free stuff and eat free cake!
Bring the following items: pen, notebook, date book. The best place to take notes is on the actual brochure handed out by each vendor. That way you connect a face to your notes, to your brochure, and it will be easier to remember that specific vender. Enjoy yourself! It's just a bridal show! Nothing HAS to be set in stone that day. Use this time to gather information and enjoy any of the special offers extended to you. You are the Bride; you make the rules when dealing with vendors. It's YOUR day make the best of it!
"The show is going to be big and have a lot of everything. We have eclectic and hide away venues and boutiques for every brides style and budget," shared Diane.
