The Copperopolis Fire Department Has a New Website!

Copperopolis, CA....The Copper Fire Department has a spiffy new website for your viewing pleasure. You can check it out at www. copperfiredist.com. They welcome your comments or suggestions, so please feel free to make a comment in our comment section...." Welcome to Copperopolis Fire Protection District’s new website. As a Fire District in Calaveras County we are striving to maximize our communication systems with our members and with you as members of our community.....

Click to Visit Their Spiffy New Site!

Communication is paramount to all aspects of a Fire Department or District. One of the first lessons we learn as Firefighters is communication. We learn that not only is communication important as Firefighters on an incident but also the need for communication with the public that we serve.

We all remember the movie Wizard of Oz and the scene where the wizard yells “pay no attention to that little man behind the curtain”. Many times there is a perception that CFPD lives in this world behind a secret veil. We want to pull back that perceived invisible curtain and let the community see the new progressive Copper Fire Protection District at work.

We will post upcoming training schedules to allow members to have access to training to better perform their duties. We will post our incidents so that everyone can see our monthly activities without any personal information to continue our policy of privacy.

We will proudly display the apparatus the community has provided for us to respond to our incidents and post pictures of our members both present and past. There is a gallery that will be full of our pictures of past training and incidents.

Because our website is new and under construction we will be updating it for the next few weeks before it becomes the communication tool we need. If there are any items or information you would like to share, (personal stories or pictures) please forward them to us for consideration.

Thanks to all who have made this website possible!"
