Longtime Valley Springs Resident, Salvatore Samuel Amodeo Passed Away on April 8th , 2009

Valley Spring, CA.....29 year Valley Springs resident, Salvatore Samuel Amodeo, passed away on April 8th, 2009. He was 80 years old. He passed at Mark Twain St. Josephs Hospital of Natural Causes. A native it Italy, Mr. Amodeo moved to Pittsburg, PA. in 1934, Lodi, CA. in 1944 and Stockton, CA. in 1952, then settled in Valley Springs in 1980. He worked for San Joaqin Paper Products for 30 years and was a past member of the Lyons Club and the Jesters Club. He also was a Little League coach for many years....

Survivors include his wife Joam Amodeo of Valley Springs; Children, Michael Amodeo; One Grandchild Jamie Hutson of Valley Springs; He has two Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Amodeo.

A Memorial Mass is planned for April 16th, 2009 at 11am at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Linden, CA.

Our deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Amodeo.
