Greenhorn Creek & Saddle Creek Introduce the ‘Play the Creeks Golf Package’ Central Sierra golf resorts combine to offer 2 days of golf with a two-night stay

Angels Camp, CA...Greenhorn Creek and Saddle Creek destination golf resorts announce a combined golf package. Stay two nights at either resort and play each course on subsequent days. Greenhorn Creek, redesigned by Robert Trent Jones II and Saddle Creek, a course designed by Carter Moorish, are 18 miles apart in the Calaveras County foothills...

The two-night golf packages include:

• 18 holes of golf on each course during a two night stay, including green fees, cart and range balls.
• Lodging for foursomes is in a two-bedroom resort condominium at Greenhorn Creek or a two-bedroom bungalow at Saddle Creek. Couples may stay, for the same price per person, in a single bedroom at Saddle Creek.

Packages start at $105 per person per day, and are available for stays through March 31, 2010

“Savvy golfers have been playing both courses during their stays for some time. We are 18 miles apart. Both Saddle Creek and Greenhorn Creek have well deserved reputations for design, condition and difficulty. Stay at Greenhorn Creek or at Saddle Creek, either way there are few opportunities like this to play golf on premium courses so convenient to one another.” said Mike Kristoff, Greenhorn Creek General Manager.

“This package is designed for golfers who want to stay at and play on two outstanding, nationally ranked golf courses,” says Bob Higgins, Saddle Creek General Manager. “The quality and character of each course provides the unique Gold Country golf experience and a very different test of your skills at each.”

Packages are exclusive of taxes, gratuities, and other charges unless otherwise noted, and cannot be combined with any other offer. Advance reservations are required. About Saddle Creek Resort

Situated in the rolling foothills of the Central Sierra region just two hours from the Bay area and 1.5 hours from Sacramento, Saddle Creek Resort is located in the heart of the emerging Copper Valley. Golfers will discover stunning vistas of the towering Sierra Mountains to the east, while an ethereal collection of shimmering lakes, native trees, indigenous grasses and 100 bunkers provides a challenging, thought provoking experience from tee to green. To create an atmosphere of tranquility and isolation, golf course architect Carter Morrish devised a routing in which no two holes run parallel to each other.

Saddle Creek’s thoughtful design, challenging-yet-fair setup and sublime conditioning have led to numerous statewide and national accolades including:

• Fairways & Greens, “Signature 36, No. 16,” 2007
• Golf Digest, “4 1/2 Stars”
• Golf Digest, “Best New Upscale” 1997
• GOLF Magazine, “One of America’s Most Underrated Courses,” 2007
