State of Art field to be ready for Homecoming Oct 2nd
Angels Camp, CA...The old grass field at Bret Harte that saw so many pitched battles is now gone. In it's place will be a new cutting edge turf field. The @ $1.5 million project will bring many improvements and a deffinent home field advantage for Bret Harte Athletes. First among the improvements is heightened accessibility to the field. Since it will be an artificial surface the periods of needed to water and let the grass recovers will be eliminated....

The field will also be more consistent surface has the potential for improved play.
The administration and board made sure all of the coaches and staff were on board for the improvements
The actual field should make Bret Harte's the best in the area. They are able to incorporate significant improvements in turf techonology. One board member we spoke with even talked about the natural shape of the individual blades of "Grass"
