Endowment for Youth Grant Funding Available
The Endowment for Youth Program, sponsored by Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital, is now accepting applications for the 2009 Endowment for Youth Program. Each year the hospital’s Thrift Stores provide funding opportunities for not-for-profit Calaveras County projects that provide services to children ages 0-18. The Endowment for Youth Program was developed to meet the mission of the hospital’s two Thrift Stores in support of the youth of Calaveras County. The stores are located in Angels Camp and Valley Springs.
Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital is a not-for-profit, 48-bed general acute care hospital serving all of Calaveras County. Established in 1951 as Mark Twain District Hospital and centrally located in San Andreas, the hospital is partnered with Catholic Healthcare West to further strengthen this rural hospital to meet future community needs. The hospital is supported by 32 active physicians practicing in 24 specialties.
