Lake Alpine, CA...One of the the most picturesque spots in our lovely area is Lake Alpine. head around the back side and the part below the dam your ride can become as technical as you would like. If you don't want to polish up those rock hopping skills it is easy to dismount and walk your bike through these section.
The elevation changes around the lake are fairly minimal and consist of undulations and brief climbs over rock outcroppings. This is a great loop to take at a leisurely pace as there is beautiful scenery in abundance and sandy beaches that beckon if you want dip your toes in the water.
