On Defense, Grant McKinney lead with 7 tackles, Gilmore had 6, and Emment Barrett and Seawell each had 5. Barrett, Stockdale and McKinney all had fumble recoveries.

According to Varsity Head Coach Perri Turner, “We have a lot of work to do this week to prepare for the Mustangs. Overall, considering this was our first game and the fact that we have a lot of first-year players, I’d say we did OK”.

Final score of the Jr. Redskins Varsity team, 28-8

Scores for the JV and Bantam Jr. Redskins this week are:

JV Jr. Redskins 0, Summerville Cowboys 12

Bantam Jr. Redskins 12, Summerville Cowboys 0

*Mighty Mites – no score.

Next week's games are against the Argonaut Mustangs at Calaveras High School. Mighty Mites begin at 1:30pm, Bantam at 3pm, JV at 5pm, and Varsity at 7pm.
