Why You Belong at Bear in 2009-10
• Bear Valley’s “Bear Tracker” Snowcat Backcountry Tours will give skiers and riders looking for the ultimate in fresh-powder skiing a chance to get off the beaten path with access to an additional 400-acres of sidecountry terrain.
• Terrain park daredevils will relish opportunities to perfect their skills and up their thrills with a slide across the top of a 40-foot school bus feature added to the advanced-level park.
• Skiers and boarders desiring to spend more time on the mountain and improve their skills can purchase a three-lesson combo package for $60 less than the price of a regular season pass, and get a free season pass good for the rest of the season upon completion of their lessons.
• Because Bear Valley is close to the Bay Area, Central Valley and Sacramento area, groups, couples and families from these regions can get to Bear on a single tank of gas; ski and stay overnight for as little as $85 per person.

Available to skiers and boarders at Bear Valley Mountain this season:
• Season Pass Lesson Combo for $399 — Allowing skiers who want to get started in the sport or advance to the next level to purchase three any-level lessons and get a season pass following completion of their lessons. This is $60 less than the price of a regularly priced Adult unlimited season pass.
• Bear Tracker Snowcat Backcountry Tours — When weather permits and conditions are right, the six-hour “Adventure,” four-hour “Excursion,” or “Private” tours provide access to an additional 400-acres of powder covered terrain. Discerning skiers and boarders desiring to break away from in-bounds runs can get access to the Bear Tracker for as little as $85.
• Mountain Meadow Combo Pass — $559 allows skiers to enjoy Bear Valley’s world-class downhill and cross country terrain the entire season.
• Skiing and Lodging Packages — For an $85 double occupancy rate, couples, partners, groups and families can ski all day and stay at the world famous Bear Valley Lodge. Rate includes lodging, lift ticket and free breakfast available to lodge patrons.
• Cub Club — For only $120, cubs 4-8 can spend the day with an instructor and other kids as they venture onto the slopes, play in the snow and learn to ski. Cubs will spend a day with seasoned instructors, enjoy two lessons, play in the snow and be treated to lunch and snacks. Half day programs available too.
• New this year, The Bear Valley All Mountain Team — Teenagers 13 to 18 can become “experts for life” through this innovative program that teaches them how to navigate everything the mountain offers. For $599, teens spend six weekends with dedicated coaches making their way through the groomed trails, moguls, trees and terrain parks.
• Single-Day Lift Passes — For only $59, Adult skiers and boarders can gain access to Bear Valley’s nine lifts and 1,280-acres of groomed terrain.
