Mother Lode Internet acquires Hub3 Networks
Sonora, CA...Mother Lode Internet, the leading regional Internet Service Provider for the Mother Lode area has just completed an acquisition of Hub3 Networks, a local Internet and Network Services Provider in Tuolumne County. The acquisition increases Mother Lode Internet’s capacity to deliver quality wireless internet services to un-served and under-served areas of Tuolumne County while increasing customer service levels for Hub3 Clients. “We have always been impressed with the Hub 3 wireless network” says Ben Hulet, owner of Mother Lode Internet. “The network is well designed with top-shelf equipment with ability to provide excellent performance and reliability”, says Ben. Backed by investment from his parents...
(Dr.’s Edgar and Judith Vyhmeister) Bryan Vyhmeister built an outstanding network and has provided excellent service for over 6 years. With Bryan’s recent decision to move on, MLI is proud to have been selected to take over operations effective Monday January 18th and shall ensure that quality service is provided going forward. Prior to this date MLI had no involvement in the delivery of Hub3 services.
Hub3 will be operated as a division of MLI with MLI doing business as Hub3 Networks. There will be no changes to Hub3 customers as MLI takes over delivery of services to all Hub3 clients. Prices will remain the same but service levels for Hub3 customers will be enhanced with the stability and care of MLI renowned system management, customer support and free virus scanning.
The Hub3 Network will be integrated into the MLI network to create more capacity for both sets of customers and to increase reliability. Hub3 customers will then be part of a larger network that is monitored 24/7, protected with climate control, security, power conditioning and generator backup. This will help ensure against network outages and the service will be backed by MLI’s commitment to provide the best, most reliable service available.
This move strengthens local service for higher quality customer support and keeps dollars local protecting precious jobs here in the Mother Lode. The towers and equipment purchased also meet the specification that MLI has applied for with government grant funding. The Hub3 Network fits right in with MLI’s plans to build The Community Network for the Mother Lode region … better linking our Communities with each other and to the world.
