High Mountain Economy Rolls On ~By John Hamilton

Bear Valley, CA...The economy in our high country was sliding, skiing, snowboarding & snowmobiling in high gear last weekend. Bear Valley Mountain had their busiest single day in the last several years with close to 5,000 skiers and riders on Sunday alone. The combination of great weather, events like the Night Wings Slopestyle event on Saturday night and a long three day weekend made an irresistible allure for those willing to explore our great outdoors...

The hill absorbed it well as it usually does on clear sunny days. With the full mountain open and great snow coverage Bear Valley can really absorb the skiers
