Ya You Betcha...More Snow On The Way
Bear Valley, CA...The morning we took a run up to about 8,000ft in the Bear Valley area at the end of SR207, at the Bear Valley Bus lot, to see what snow accumulation there was from the first wave of the latest storm systems. Bear Valley has been very conservative with their snow reports as they had reported about 6 inches of new snow and in many places there was easily a foot or more. NWS is reporting that tomorrow should be fairly quiet but on Friday we should see another wave that should bring us another foot or more....
Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 45. East wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of rain before 10pm, then snow, possibly mixed with rain. Low around 31. Southeast wind between 6 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday: Rain and snow, becoming all rain after 10am. High near 40. South wind between 14 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.
Friday Night: Snow. Low around 26. South wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.
Saturday: Snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 22.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27.
