Stockton Area Gangs Involved in Shootings at Jackson Rancheria This Morning
Jackson, CA...About 5:30am this morning, Stockton area gang members were involved in a shooting of two individuals atJackson Rancheria Casino. One of the young men was shot in the neck and the other was shot in the face. They were flown to area hospitals for treatment. One is said to be 15 years old and the other 18 years old. Security personnel, Amador County Sheriff's deputies and CHP reacted quickly in setting up a perimeter and apprehending five suspects...
The suspected shooter is in custody in the Amador County Jail on attempted murder charges. It is suspected that the Nortenos, and the Sureno gangs, of Stockton, CA., may be involved. The suspect in custody is not cooperating with authorities.
The casino was closed until about 11:30am.
