FIRE NEWS....Structure Fire In Copperopolis...CONTAINED AT 11:13pm
Copperopolis, CA...Multiple agencies are dispatching to what may be a fully involved structure fire located on Steeplechase in Copperopolis. More to follow... Update #1: 10:34pm, First on scene are stating that it is a single level home and it is 50% involved with the garage area fully involved and they are checking for occupants now. Update #2: 10:50pm, Fire is pretty much knocked down. Not fully contained. Inbound units are being called off. We are awaiting information regarding any occupants in the home. Update #3: 11:05pm, Calling for Special Investigative Units now. Update #4: 11:13pm, Fire is contained. Crews will remain on scene for a few more hours of mop up.....
Cause of fire and additional details to come as soon as we receive official Press Release from CAL Fire.
Update 8:27am, 50% of the structure was burned according to Copper Fire Department. There were people home, but they got out safely. Fire is under investigation. They finished mop up around 6am this morning.
