Douglas Flat Women Sustains Major Injuries in Bicycle Accident Last Evening (Updated Condition of Cyclist)
Vallecito, CA...Sydney Prest, 55, Sustained major injuries when she was riding her bicycle and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a Vallecito man. The accident occurred at 6:46pm last night as she was traveling westbound on the north shoulder of Hwy 4, when the driver of a 1989 Jaguar who was temporarily blinded by sunlight made contact with her. She was lifeflighted to Memorial Hospital in Modesto with major injuries. The CHP release is enclosed...
She was attended to on scene by units from multiple agencies including Altaville-Melones, Murphys & Angels City..
