Christopher Maness and Avonlea Ahern Wed in Town Square over the weekend
Copperopolis, CA....With family and friends in attendance USMC Sgt. Christopher Maness of Copperopolis wed his sweetheart Avonlea Ahern of Temecula on Saturday November 20, 2010 at an outdoor ceremony in the Town Square of Copperopolis. Chris’ father, John Maness, officiated, weaving a tale of their young love “put on hold courtesy of the United States Marine Corps” referring to Chris’ deployment to Afghanistan, leaving few dry eyes. Chris’ brother and best friend Nick stood in as best man, his childhood .....
.friend Tyler as groomsman, and his youngest brother Marshall as ring bearer.
Avonlea’s parents, Judy and Keith, caravanned with five of Avonlea’s brothers and sisters, her grandmother and her Aunt, from Temecula to be with their daughter on this special day.
At the reception held at Saddle Creek the bride and groom were announced to the awaiting crowd with the theme from Top Gun playing in the background. Her father Keith, a man of few words brought the bride to tears with his heartfelt toast, a toast telling of the great love a father feels for his daughter, an unbreakable love.
