Snow, Snow, Snow In Forecast. Putting A Bit of Green in Our Local Economy

Bear Valley, CA...With another great weather report for our local economy the white stuff keeps rolling in. Today: Snow. Temperature falling to around 34 by 5pm. South southwest wind between 5 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible...


Bear Valley is at the top followed by Arnold, Murphys, & Angels Camp to show the forecast for the different elevations.


Tonight: Snow showers before 6pm, then snow and areas of blowing snow. Low around 26. Windy, with a south southwest wind between 22 and 31 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 15 to 21 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers and areas of blowing snow before 10am, then snow showers likely between 10am and 4pm, then a chance of snow showers after 4pm. High near 30. Breezy, with a west southwest wind between 20 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow showers before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 1. West wind 8 to 13 mph becoming north. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 20. Northeast wind between 9 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 3. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 24.

Friday Night: A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 9.

New Year's Day: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28.

Saturday Night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15.

Sunday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29.

Sunday Night: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.

Monday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31.
