Froggy's Wins Wins 2 International Awards
Angels Camp, CA...Froggy’s Auto Wash & Lube, located in Angels Camp at 572 South Main Street, designed and built by Chris Oddo and Urban Gomes of Fairway Construction opened for business in 2002. They entered a contest in “The National Oil & Lube News” which features Oil & Lube facilities from around the world. Froggy’s Auto Wash & Lube received a first place award for “Best Landscaping for a Lube Shop” and also won an honorable mention award that tied with a facility in Saudi Arabia for “Best Looking Lube Shop.”..
This cute and café like facility with its tables and chairs and beautiful roses under a grape vine arbor is a relaxing place while having your automobile serviced. You can browse the gift shop where there are books pertinent to the local history, have ice cream for those hot summer days and small gift items with a nice assortment of gift cards.
Besides offering an oil & lube for your vehicle, they also provide a multitude of maintenance services. A full service car wash keeps your vehicle in top shape. Hand washes and detailing services are a specialty. If Mark Twain were alive today he would drive his car right in and be proud of the special care that was taken to reflect the history of the community when Froggy’s was built.
This business could not have won these International Awards without the support of the wonderful people of Calaveras County who are customers of the little town’s Auto Wash & Lube facility. They want to thank them for their business.
