"We Are One Rally" Held Today in Sacramento~by Nora Coryell
"Some of the Amador County residents who participated in the We Are One rally in Sacramento on Monday the 4th were David Roddy and Mike Israel (holding sign), Nora Coryell and Mike Pulskamp, and Janet Kendig who took this picture, along with several others. Ami Bera recognized us and stopped by to chat about his new campaign to defeat Dan Lungren and the need for solidarity amongst workers around the country. There were many unions and other groups involved and others from Amador Co. who also took part, ......
assembling in Cesar Chavez Park and later marching to the capitol. Another large march and demonstration took place in Stockton, and around the nation on the same day to call attention to the Republican Party's attacks on workers in numerous states."
