Hey all You Rockhounds.....Plan on Attending The Biggest Rock, Gem and Mineral Show....Snyder's POW WOW This Labor Day Weekend!
Valley Springs, CA...Missing something? For 36 years the first full weekend in May in Valley Springs meant the biggest outdoor rock, gem and mineral show in California. For 36 years we drove the family out Paloma Road to take part in the Snyder’s Valley Springs Pow Wow. Well, times are changing but not our love of great earthly treasures. .....

To make sure the weather is bright and sunny the 37th Annual Snyder’s Valley Springs Pow Wow is moving to Labor Day weekend-September 2, 3, 4 and 5, 2011. Not only will we have the whole summer to add to the hundreds of vendors out in the meadow of this working cattle ranch, but we are loading up on lots of new food types, entertainment and community groups in order to provide the greatest time to be had by all.
We continue to provide the public with antique cars, incredibly restored antique steam engines, Native American entertainers and our Mountain Men demonstrations. The skies will still buzz with the sounds of Radio-Controlled airplanes and the air will still smell of homemade pies, strawberry shortcake, Indian fry bread and our annual chili cook off.
Booth spaces are still available for vendors and local organizations are welcome along with all our neighbors and rock enthusiasts! Betty Snyder say to make sure you all know it is still free admission and free parking!
