Tuesdays in May - Winemaker's Night at Alchemy - Every Tuesday night you can expect free live music on our patio from 5:30-8:00, our delicious dinner menu, and a featured menu option for one low price. Call 209-728-0700 for reservations.

Fridays in May - Fridays At Alchemy. Matt Cullen Delivers style with pop, country and jazz vocal performances from the 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond every Friday on our patio from 5:30-8 pm. Saturdays in May - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum across from the Murphys Hotel. Please contact Bob Buchanan at 209-728-3517 to confirm dates and times or to set up a tour for a group of 12 or more.

Fridays & Saturday in May - Zucca After Hours Wine Bar - With the warm spring and summer evenings approaching we are happy to announce the Zucca After Hours Wine Bar. Friday and Saturday nights, our garden will be open from 5-8 pm for Wine Bar service “al’Italiano”. Pick your favorite seat and enjoy our wines by the glass and a small bread plate, or choose your own flight of wines. Live music on select nights.

May 11, 2011 - Beer and Cheese Pairing at Mineral - We have revamped our beer selection so join us for our first Beer and Cheese Pairing Wednesday May 11th 6pm. $42 per person for four beers and four complimentary cheese centric courses. May 15, 2011 - Mountain Melody Women's Choir at the Faith Lutheran Church -Put on your travelin’ shoes, pack your bags and come along on a Musical Road Trip with Mountain Melody - Concert begins at 4:00 pm. Tickets: $10.00 Adult; $5.00 Youth under 18. Tickets will be available at the door or call 209-754-4783 to purchase in advance. Refreshments will be available following the concert. May 19th- Classic Car Show at the Murphys Historic Hotel - From 5:30pm to 8:30pm join us for the Classic Car Show in our parking lot. There is no entry fee, just polish up your beauty and bring 'er on down, there will be a music, food and a raffle, all ages welcome. Last year this was a Great event for the entire family!

May 20th - Live Music at the Murphys Historic Hotel - featuring "Bison" from 9 pm-1am. Bison is a local Rock Band with Mikey Tarango on vocals, Sky Kaufman's the Axe Man, Chris Conners-Costales on Skins, and Brian Jirka Slappin da Bass! Get out here and Party!

May 21-23, 2011 - Art Exhibition at Bodega del Sur Tasting Room - Bodega del Sur Winery is proud to present “Connections,” a group exhibition of artwork from Latin American artists from Cuba, Chile, and El Salvador. These carefully selected paintings give a voice to Latin American artists, allowing them to define their own art practice and history apart from the Western hegemony. Inspired by their history, these artists, each in their unique aesthetic, showcase the strength of the human spirit in the face of political oppression, abuse, violence, and life-threatening illness. Their work reminds us that while we come from different places and have different experiences, we are all connected through our common humanity.

This exhibit features work by Victor Hugo Arevalo Silva, Jorge Castrillo, DeeDee Hunt, Sebastiana Pastor, Francisco Rivero. Opening Reception on May 21 from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. $15.00/person Advance Sales. $20.00/person at the door (limited). Meet and hear the artists talk while sipping a glass of Bodega del Sur’s wine, and sampling a variety of Salvadorian sweet & savory treats catered by Delicias Salvadorenas of San Francisco.
