In Loving Memory of Dorothy E. Martinez, 1918~2011
Jackson, CA....Dorothy Martinez passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2011 in Jackson, California at the age of 92 after a short illness. She was born in Pennsylvania to George and Nettie Grigg on July 13, 1918. After the death of her mother the family moved to Los Angeles. In 1952 Dorothy moved with her family to Jackson. Over the years she worked for Western Auto and Amador Lumber as the business manager. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Martinez and her daughter Susan Campbell. She is survived by a son, Charles Calais of Pine Grove, California and a daughter, Donna .....
Phipps of Dunsmuir, California, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Due to her wishes no services are being held. In her memory please make a donation to the Hospice of Amador-Calaveras Counties at PO Box 595, Jackson, California 95642. Arrangements where handled by San Andreas Memorial Chapel.
