Rub a Dub Duck Races in Murphys Today!~by Robin Works
Murphys, CA.....The 18th Annual Duck Races took place today in Murphys Community Park on Algiers Street in Murphys. There were 5 separate Races, 2 kids races and 3 Adult races. The Ducks were dumped into the creek off of the bridge into Murphys Creek. The Rubber ducks made their way down the creek into Murphys Community park. The first 3 ducks to cross the .....

The finish line at the Bridge in the Park received a Prize Package. The Prize Packages were all donations from local merchants in and around Calaveras County. The prizes for the Adult Races were Wine, gift certificates for restaurants, and local stores. The Kid's Prize packages included pizza coupons, movie gift certificates, toys and more.
The Duck Races are a fundraiser for the Calaveras Humane Society.
