Excitement Builds for This Year’s Dancing with the Sierra Stars! Tonight's The Night!!!
Calaveras County, CA....What do a county supervisor, a winemaker, a teacher, a nurse, an artist, a designer, an actor and a business man have in common? They will all be competing in this year’s Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation’s Dancing with the Sierra Stars October 8 Gala Venetian Carnival Extravaganza that will be held at Ironstone Vineyards. Dancing with the Sierra Stars couples include : Mark Wilson and Laura Dyken, Gary Tofanelli and Isabel Barthelemey-Franke, Matt Hatcher and Jennifer Berry, Paul Mundy and Terri Wilson and Sean Lewis and Kassie Waters....

These five couples will dance for the coveted Mirrored Ball Award (best dancing couple) and People’s Choice Award (most dollars raised) in support of a campaign to build a new Family Medical Center and Women’s Health Center in Angels Camp. The evening includes a champagne reception, dancing entertainment with a Venetian Carnival theme, Cuisine de Veneto, live auction and dancing. The evening will culminate with the presentation of a Treasure Chest that will hold airfare tickets for two to Venice and a week-long Royal Carribean cruise. One hundred keys will be sold for $100 each for a chance to win a unique cruise in the Baltic Sea with ports of call in Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Live auction items include a commemorative bottle of wine from local vintners, a weeks stay at Casa Alegre in beautiful Punta de Mita, Mexico, and a dinner for ten prepared by Chef Bob Anderson from V Restaurant in Murphys.
