The Starbucks, Angels Camp Police and Fire Department Fundraiser for Jared Poortinga
Angels Camp, CA... The community turned out again to raise money for fallen Police Officer Jared Poortinga. There was a bake sale, silent auction, hot dogs, music, karaoke and more. The Video Clip we have enclosed features a Karaoke song by Dusty Miller as he warmed up the crowd. The event ran from 8am until 2pm yesterday in-front of Starbucks in Angels Camp. A large contingent members of Jared's family were in attendance as well. We spoke briefly with his wife Susan who was attending with their children. It was gut wrenching to see the children playing and knowing that for them the impact of the events of the last month will never go away. We took a few pictures of the event and we have the video clip enclosed...
