Winefest Kicks Off Holiday Season In Sutter Creek
It may seem a bit early, but now’s the time to put Saturday, November 12, from 4:30 to 8:00 pm, on your calendar to go to the 13th annual Winefest in Sutter Creek. Sponsored by AmadorArts, the popular event promises to be yet another good time to kick-off the Holiday Season. Plan to stroll the town’s historic Main Street and its shops while tasting over 20 local wines and appetizers...
Visit the Sutter Creek Auditorium first, at 18 Main St., starting at 4:30 pm to check in and pick up your Winefest 2011 Map and commemorative wine glass. Take a look at the many enticing silent auction items and start your bidding. Then begin your journey up and down historic Main Street socializing and visiting businesses. By 7:00 pm when the shops close, you’ll want to return to the auditorium to indulge in desserts and dessert wines and to check on your bids in the silent auction, which will include many artworks, wines, seasonal items and several unique surprises. The auction starts closing at 7:30 pm.
Advance tickets at $25 each, using a credit card will be available through www.amadorarts.org. Your tickets will be held at Will Call in the Auditorium.
