Thank You for a Record Setting January!!!
Avery, CA..We would like to thank you for making January one of the busiest months in the 7 year history of ThePineTree.net. We had the highest number of daily visitors and visits in our history and the third highest number of page views ever!! Each and everyday last month we averaged over 17,500 of you who stopped by everyday!! We are humbled and we will do our best to provide something interesting and informative and timely each and every visit...
We believe in local, community news! Local news websites are one of the last places that all of us gather regardless of political affiliation or beliefs. All of us want what is best and brightest for our communities and local sites like ThePineTree.net setting records prove that we all care and want what is best for our local businesses, families and residents!
If you are looking at marketing on ThePineTree.net our January Numbers should be useful. Our record numbers were achieved without any major weather events, fatal accidents fires or any news stories that tend to drive heavy event driven traffic.
In digging deeper into our recent numbers we are seeing some fundamental changes in our traffic patterns. Some measurements such as traffic from desktop and laptop computers continue to rise but at a slower pace while traffic from phones, tablets and truly mobile devices is making up a larger and larger portion of our traffic.
We are overjoyed to see these numbers during what may be considered a "Quiet" news month. Thank You!!!!
We will be making some minor tweaks and improvements in menus and layout based on some of your feedback over the next few weeks.
You will also see new contributors, writers and features in the future!!
