2012 Ironstone Vineyards Concert Series to Include Reba, John Fogerty, Heart, and Jeff Foxworthy

Murphys, CA...Tickets go on sale to the public tomorrow, April 12th, for the 2012 Ironstone Vineyards Concert Series which will feature some world-class performers, including Reba on July 21st, John Fogerty on August 3rd, Heart on August 11th, and Jeff Foxworthy on September 8th. The Friday shows will begin at 7:30pm and the Saturday shows at 8:00pm. Tickets start at just $45 and can be purchased at www.ironstonevineyards.com or at www.etix.com.

The concerts will take place at the Ironstone Amphitheatre located at 1894 Six Mile Road in Murphys, CA at the base of the Sierra Foothills. The amphitheatre offers amazing sound quality and is one of the most unique and beautiful settings in the world for hosting outdoor concerts. Each summer, world-renowned artists perform for the Ironstone Summer Concert Series. Additional performers will be added to the 2012 summer lineup at a later date.
Country music star Reba is the biggest female hitmaker in Country music history. Often referred to as “The Queen of Country,” Reba has sold more than 56 million albums worldwide. Reba has had 35 #1 singles, including the #1 hit “Turn On the Radio” from her most recent album. The multi-platinum superstar has won 2 Grammy Awards, 15 American Music Awards, 13 ACM Awards, 9 People’s Choice Awards, and 6 CMA Awards. She has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame this June. The Oklahoma native is also an acclaimed film, TV and Broadway actress. She is currently filming an ABC pilot called Malibu Country.
Legendary rock star and honored guitarist John Fogerty has the renowned distinction of being named on Rolling Stone magazine’s lists of 100 Greatest Guitarists and 100 Greatest Singers. He was the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for Creedence Clearwater Revival before embarking on a solo career and the songs “Born on the Bayou” and “Proud Mary” rank among the Greatest Pop Songs of all time. The Grammy Award-winning musician was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has a BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) Icon for his “unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers.”
Heart is one of the most commercially enduring rock bands in history and has sold more than 35 million records worldwide with ten albums on the Billboard Album Chart. The multi-platinum selling band first stormed the charts in the ‘70s with hits like “Crazy on You” and “Barracuda.” Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson were the first women in rock to lead the band, write the songs, and play the instruments and continued topping the charts over the years with hits like “These Dreams” and “What About Love.” Heart has found its way into the soundtrack of American life through radio, movies, and TV, and songs made famous by Heart are heard in every aspect of contemporary culture.
Jeff Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and best-selling author of more than 26 books. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature. Foxworthy is currently on tour with Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy. The three reunited for "Them Idiots Whirled Tour," which was filmed as a special for CMT. Jeff was also the host of the hit show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. Prior to that he executive produced and starred in both Foxworthy’s Big Night Out and the television series Blue Collar TV.
