Mark Philips, General Manager of Bear Valley Lodge and Resort is Resigning Effective May 15, 2012
Dear Friends and Associates: I want to take this opportunity to mention that I will be leaving Bear Valley Resorts (BVR) as General Manager of the Bear Valley Lodge and Village Resort Operations effective this May. I also wanted to thank the BVR ownership group, my wonderful and loyal staff, co-workers and the Bear Valley community for their support these past seven years.....
For the time being, I will now fix my gaze and efforts in support of various Alpine County government and commerce associations plus local non-profit organizations upon whose respective Board of Directors I have the distinct honor and pleasure to serve. Additionally, at the appropriate time I intend to re-boot my event production and sports marketing consulting firm, Summit Communications.
In closing, let me state that my hope and prayers are for Bear Valley to realize that her best years have not passed her by but are in front of her. Alpine County and the community of Bear Valley are very special indeed and I’m blessed to reside in both!
